Monomial Cycle Basis on Koszul Homology Modules

It gives a class of p-Borel principal ideals of a polynomial algebra over a field K for which the graded Betti numbers do not depend on the characteristic of K and the Koszul homology modules have monomial cyclic basis. Also it shows that all principal p-Borel ideals have binomial cycle basis on Koszul homology modules.

Computing Koszul Homology for Monomial Ideals

The Koszul homology of modules of the polynomial ring R is a central object in commutative algebra. It is strongly related with the minimal free resolution of these modules, and thus with regularity, Hilbert functions, etc. Here we consider the case of modules of the form R/I where I is a monomial ideal. So far, some good algorithms have been given in the literature and implemented in different...

Monomial Irreducible sln-Modules

In this article, we introduce monomial irreducible representations of the special linear Lie algebra $sln$. We will show that this kind of representations have bases for which the action of the Chevalley generators of the Lie algebra on the basis elements can be given by a simple formula.

Holomorphic Koszul-brylinski Homology

In this note, we study the Koszul-Brylinski homology of holomorphic Poisson manifolds. We show that it is isomorphic to the cohomology of a certain smooth complex Lie algebroid with values in the Evens-Lu-Weinstein duality module. As a consequence, we prove that the Evens-Lu-Weinstein pairing on Koszul-Brylinski homology is nondegenerate. Finally we compute the Koszul-Brylinski homology for Poi...

(n-1)-st Koszul homology and the structure of monomial ideals

Koszul homology of monomial ideals provides a description of the structure of such ideals, not only from a homological point of view (free resolutions, Betti numbers, Hilbert series) but also from an algebraic viewpoint. In this paper we show that, in particular, the homology at degree (n− 1), with n the number of indeterminates of the ring, plays an important role for this algebraic descriptio...
